(Think Cathy and Clare, but with less oestrogen and more gin) The result is the <strong>satirical, biting, and bolshie<\/strong> chatter and song that they have used ever since to get the world to sit up straight, get its elbows off the table and tuck into whatever they decide to dish out<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freyja\u00a0Westdal\u00a0and\u00a0Beth\u00a0Hayward\u00a0are MAWOPWs (Middle Aged, White, Over-Privileged Women) and yet it was only 7 years ago when they realised that they were now at that stage in their lives when they could fulfill their long held vocation to do what they do best<\/strong> <strong>which is<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong> Tell you what they think<\/strong> <strong>and <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tell<\/strong> <strong> you what you should do<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How we got here<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Beth and Freyja&nbsp;met as aspiring young actresses on a tour where Beth was Freyja\u2019s understudy; a&nbsp;fact that Freyja has&nbsp;never allowed to be&nbsp;forgotten, in a friendship which, despite this, has lasted for over 25 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In that short time Westdal &amp; Hayward have&nbsp;supported&nbsp;Dean Friedman&nbsp;on tour as well as performing alongside&nbsp;and also writing&nbsp;songs for&nbsp;4 Poofs and a Piano. Then, in 2019,&nbsp;they performed for the first time at the Edinburgh Fringe. The audience&nbsp;reviewers&nbsp;urged&nbsp;other Fringe-goers to&nbsp;join in the \u201cglamorous hilarity\u201d and enjoy an evening with these \u201cFantastically funny &amp; incredibly clever\u201d ladies.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>They were most recently seen at The Regent Theatre in Ipswich where they were invited to be part of a star-studded charity event for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.each.org.uk\/\">EACH<\/a> and were honoured to appear on stage beside the legendary Griff Rhys Jones as well as Eddie Izzard, Clive Anderson, Stephen Fry, Johnny Vegas and Ruthie Henshall!
